Hi, I'm Ashley Nye
And I like plants.
I'm a front-end web developer with a new-found passion for allotment gardening. Upon getting my first allotment, I quickly realised that I knew absolutely nothing about growing my own fruit and veg on that scale. I didn't know where to begin. I tried (and failed) to plan my new plot on paper. I spent the evening covered in eraser shavings and got nowhere.
A quick search online showed there wasn't any existing planning tools that I wanted to use. They were either far too complicated, tricky to use or just not good enough. That's when Plotting Shed was born.
It's a tool primarily for beginners, but experienced allotment gardeners can certainly get something from it. Every user can have up to 8 saved plots, which is plenty for crop rotations, multiple plots, or seasonal planning. Another great thing about Plotting Shed is that it was designed for the end user. Gardeners like you. I wanted something I could use and, in the spirit of the gardening community, decided to share it with everyone.
One of the best things about Plotting Shed is that I am always looking for ways to improve it. And if you have an idea, don't hesitate to contact me.
